Something different from the usual DD/DJ ;)
36mm 18k YG case, 20mm lugs, clean and symmetrical dial. Much rarer than the average vintage DD/DJ. I think the reference 1013 Oyster Perpetual is a steal!! |

I believe the case and movement is similar to the 1016 Explorer.

My understanding is that the 1016 Explorer case, or the case back is a little thicker or deeper. The 1013's is the same as the 1018 case, though. It's a fantastic movement! 1012 is the smooth bezel version.

I should get the calipers out and measure them one of these days - but my old watches have all probably been polished at some point and might show as smaller than they left the factory!
Lovely watch, the 1013. Here's my 1012, http://imgur.com/a/wsoI6 one of my favourite watches. I love it even after the previous owner tracked me down on another forum to tell me it's a redial! |
