NEED HELP : doubts about my 116610LV dial

Hi guys, I purchased a second hand October 2016 116610LV.
I already own a 114060.

As I got back home, I deeply checked the dial of it and noticed a different typeface on the lv.

I directly went on the Internet and found both typefaces.

You can see it the most on the "A". And I always heard that Rolex only uses a typeface with "paws". Which is not the case on this one.
Also the "=" is oblique.

What do you guys think ?

Lumes are exactly the same.

The watch seems 100% legit but the dial makes me doubt so much.

Shop is very reputed but I want your help guys.

Thanks

Rolex is always messing with their fonts.

If you buy the seller you have nothing to worry about.

SUBMARINER seems to be in different letters on his LV versus david's LV. no clue what that might mean...the OP's final picture is of his own no date sub. that matches davids. again...if i am seeing his pics right

I see no red flags. Dial fonts and minor variations are a known fact with Rolex.

Very true. I remember going through this with my DSSD a bunch of years back. There were at least 3 variations in the first few years of production.

I know (as mentioned) Rolex keeps messing around with their fonts, but is there an official difference in fonts between the LN & LV?

My SubC is a 2016 and purchased brand new from an AD. My fonts have "paws" noticeable on the "A" and my "=" sign is not oblique.

Totally fine.

Rolex has made both of the two dials in discussion for both the LN and LV for years. It does seem that the longer "ft" dial design is showing more frequently on the LV nowadays, but is not a new dial at all.

Enjoy your piece and the dial differention you lucked out with

Yup looks good. My old 116610LV and first 116619 had the bottom typeface, current 116619 has the one above.

My man, the fonts changed.

On my LN sub and my LV sub, differences in the F, the space between the = and the proximity of the m.

I took pictures of both dials and put them side by side, a horrible job but you can see the clear differences.

I love there are 2 different fonts.

If you guys take a look at the Rolex Submariner Story book, you will see several variations in the 5 digit 16610LV in regards to font and placing of the text. Not surprised that they are doing it with the 6 digit reference.

I think the dials are printed in thousands, at different locations by different people using different artwork, placed in different parts of different factories until they are ready to be used. Would be surprised if there were no differencies between fonts, spacing etc.
