Incoming! Grail.....
long story short, when this was announced i went to my AD and put my name.
my mistake for going to the one in south coast plaza mall in OC. but i had bought 4 watches there, and thought i had a chance. i checked in last week and they said they are going in order of $$$ SPENT.. 1million, 750k, 500k, 250k and so on.. thats insane. so i bit the bullet and bought on here for a couple of K over MSRP. and i dont regret it one bit.. the way i figure it, when i find one, the MSRP will be what i paid anyways... heres my grail

Congratulations on achieving your grail! Great story, and I am sure that I would have done the same thing. I find it very easy to talk myself into getting something that I really want, even if others believe it is not what I should pay.

Beautiful watch. I am very reluctant to pay over MSRP for it. I don't blame you for not wanting to deal with all the backdoor, best clients, waiting list bs. It's all a game to get people in the door and walk out with another watch as a consolation prize or try to force customers to purchase PM Rolex. It makes sense to just pay the $2-3k premium. In reality in 3-4 years, the watch will most likely retail for that much.
