I don't dislike it with the diamond bezel, but happen to like it more without it

All that matters is that you like it

very very blingy and stylish with the diamond bezel...few blings I've found agreeable :) ...but I have to add, I LOVE the other fluted look..truly classic..day-date is an icon thats best kept classic...though what matters in the end is what you like..or the ladies may be ;)

I prefer the classic simplicity of the fluted dial, but what ever
floats your boat.

I like it with the fluted bezel. The factory diamond markers are fine alone and set off the watch in an understated way.

Looks good...if any watch can pull off a diamond bezel, a President can.

BTW...I have a similar version w/the fluted bezel. Is your dial Light Champaign or Silver?

Awesome looking watch! Myself...I'd wear it without the diamonds due to I never go anywhere to have that much bling on, Heck just a gold watch is to much bling for me ! I guess I'm just a SS type of guy... so what do I know!!

Loose the after market bezel, the DD looks much better without.

Looks much better with the original fluted bezel. The diamonds and baguettes on the dial give the watch the right amount of "bling" without overdoing it.

Will wonders never cease. I happen to agree with our loony Kiwi, although the diamond bezel looks nice, too.

Whatever works for you is what's important.
