I am so glad there is no Coke GMT. It won't stop people from predicting its release every single year but at least we don't have to hear about it for awhile. Rolex rarely revisits the past and when they do they place a premium on it (BLRO).

Howdy,

It was abducted by the new Ceramic Explorer II's and is being held in a secure location.

Take care,

Glad it didn't come out. Saved me some money this year because NONE of the new entries will be getting purchased

One winner or big release a year. Last year it was the SS Daytona-C, this the new Sea Dweller. Next year the SS Coke. Rolex can't give it all to us at one time.

I think the skydweller in steel is a bigger release than the seadweller. I mean you can now get a 50k watch for almost 10k.

To be fair, Rolex wasn't really fanning the flames with IG hints; most of the hype and buildup was from posters talking themselves into the fact that Rolex HAD to release the SS Coke.

I wonder if the recent spike in 16710 GMTii prices will settle back down now.

There's always hope, so here's to kicking Coke ceramic threads down the road for another year!
