Well that's a let down

Not that I was planing a new Rolex and if I was it would be the BLNR or Hulk, but the talk of exiting changes pending has failed to appear, I wonder if anyone who can make things happen at Rolex ever look on fourms like ours, there were some amazing photoshopped watches put out there and I'm sure many of them would be exalent sellers

Yep, sure was a letdown. Let the 2018 rumors begin.

2018 might be similar though.............possibly only incremental change from herein that might not meet the expectations of many?

Underwhelming for sure. Oh well. More money for other watches I've been eyeing.

Part of the allure of Rolex is its model consistency and subtle year over year changes. If they came out with 10 new models every year the brand in my opinion would ultimately suffer. Not that I wouldn't personally like to see more models but I'd say a new SD, DJ41, the skydweller in steel etc is about as aggressive as they will get in a single year.

If you're not into the D500, this year is arguably better than last year, it is for me, didn't think I'd have my eye on 4 pieces.

I am glad that I have nothing new to lust for after Basel 2017. My CC is in the freezer for a few months.

This is said after every Basel...and yet, miraculously, Rolex sells a ton of new watches every year. Hmm...

I'm doubtful that I can wear a big 43mm watch, but I really like the new SeaDweller. It looks like a SubC on steroids.

What's the price?

Not to beat a dead horse with the SS Coke topic, but that was my hope with the intention of it dropping the second hand prices on the BLNR and adding one to my collection.
