I've heard great things about the brand. It even got the watch snob's stamp of approval... for what that's worth.

Looks great on website pictures. But I wonder how is the finishing and thickness irl. Will not expect much for the price though.

A great company with the right priorities! I'm a big fan. Although, in the same price point, NOMOS has some great offerings as well.

Agreed. I think both make great watches at great prices, it's just a matter of whether you want the modern look (Nomos) or a more classical look (FC).

FC has some super cool watches, and an extremely attractive price point, but I have read of multiple QC issues and that makes me hesitant.

I have four FCs. Like them very much. Big Bang for buck.

I just can't take a swiss watchmaker that pushes out a smart-watch seriously..
I don't like the fact they themselves, call their watches "ACCESSIBLE LUXURY". Makes the brand sound cheap. They gold-plate their watches, which means eventually it will rub off / miscolour from use. That being said, I think they have some great classic designs, tried the GMT (rose gold) on and it looks really really great on the wrist. Great caseshape and leather brand seemed like a good quality for the price. The retail price was around $2,000 I believe. I am not paying that for a plated watch. Had it been $700-800 I would have taken it. |
