I would absolutely go with the dd. But if you choose the ym, 40 is definitely right for a male.

I would usually say DD but I'm not a big fan of those dials and I prefer the bracelet on the DDs. Given your choices I would go with the YM 40. It really depends on what you are going to be using the watch for. The DD on leather strap is one of the dressiest options in the rolex lineup whereas the YM40 Everrose is a much sportier option.

40 should be fine, esp after the gym.

well i work in a medical practice so it either would be for work, daily wear, vacations, etc.

i need it to be very versatile and still have class. I'm not a scuba diver or swimmer, just the occasional beach and swimming pool guy. World traveller though and i like seeing new places.

40mm. I think rose gold wears a little smaller as it tends to blend in with skin tones.

Yeah I think the YM 40 is your best bet.

The 40...it wears a little small, IMO.

I have about the same size wrist as you...here's a couple of pics.

If you go for the 37, you will regret it later. My wrist is 6.5, and all of my watches is 40 mm. It also easier to re-sale the 40 mm than the 37 mm.

40 YM for a sports watch and 36 DD for a dressier watch. But I wouldn't get a DD without the bracelet

40mm I wore a two tone 35mm yacht for 10 years and I gave it to my wife and now I have a 40mm platinum yacht.

If I were you, I would go with the 37. It would probably feel a lot better on your wrist...

I have the same size wrists as you. Thought I would love the 37mm YM sizes. Boy was I wrong. Go 40.

Is that the 37 mm on your wrist Sam? I ask because my wife wants one and I think the 40 mm might be too big for her. I want to get the 40 though because she doesn't really like watches that much and I know I'd be wearing it some times too.

However, your pictures (if it is indeed the 37 mm) make me want to try a 37 mm on next time I'm at the AD. If it fits me too that would be awesome

If you'll keep it forever, then buy whichever feels best for you. If you want to resell it later, then definitely the 40mm.

Me personally, also with small wrists, I'd still go with the 40.
