I Love My Life

So forgive me, I've been out with customers and vendors all night. I might have had a few.

I'm at a trade show in Chicago.

And as I get ready for bed, I can think of only two things:

1. I miss my wife. I hate being without her.
2. I love my life.

I'm just a really happy guy. And I typically am, but more so right now with a few glasses of Jameson in me.

Anyway, life is such an incredible gift. And clearly, we here on this forum tend to be a very lucky group. Hard work, commitment and dedication? Of course, to the tenth degree and then some. But life is just so fleeting and every day I'm realizing how incredibly lucky I am. On so many levels...and I'm grateful.

So for all of you out there in TRF land, I hope you too are realizing how lucky you are and that you too are feeling grateful and lucky.

And I wish for you the insight to realize how amazing life is. Enjoy every moment.

Sweet dreams TRF.

Cheers!

I share the same sentiments although I sometimes have to remind myself how lucky I am. Too often, people focus on the things they don't have instead of appreciating the things they do.

Ha. Thanks for the comments guys.

I'll admit I'm not quite so happy at 5:50 in the morning. Getting up to hit the gym and then another day of this conference. Thrilled to be going home tomorrow, but enjoying today.

Cheers all. And remember, if happiness is a state of mind, why look anyplace else for it. Happiness is a choice. Sometimes it's difficult to make that choice as life gets tough, but it's still a choice.

I Love My Life

Seth is going to wake up today and think, "oh snap, what did i write on TRF!?"

Then he will log on and see it isn't bad lol.

Then when he gets home, he will find he ordered things on Amazon that are now waiting on his door step.

Lmfao. That's actually exactly what happens. Sans the Amazon ordering binge.

You are quite right Seth. We are all very lucky and should be thankful for what we have!!

I've been trying to find the right thread to do it in and your drunken happiness has put a huge smile on my face so now is the time to post.

I'm celebrating my 5,000th post

Thank you for the nice post. Nothing is better than knowing the next day you will be seeing your wife and kids after a long time away on business.

These are critical insights along with your opening post Seth. Being able to differentiate ephemeral enjoyment(s) from long-term happiness is perhaps the key to fulfilling our existence. And wishing the best for others helps to keep the universe in balance.
