I got the call from my AD on a Deepsea....
I got the call on Saturday from my AD that they had received a new Deepsea and that he would hold it for me if interrested. I wanted to see one of course, so I asked them to hold it till today (Monday). I went over after work to see it, even though I had already pretty much decided that I didn't think I would buy one due to the 19mm thickness of the watch. Last night I re-read most of the posts other members have left, either people who had purchased one or who had seen one, just to help me decide just how interrested I may or may not be. I must say I was very surprised, I do like it. As others have stated, this is not a watch for the faint of heart and you really do have to actually try it on for yourself to really know if it's a keeper. In my case, I do have other "large" watches including an Omega Planet Ocean Chrono which is 45mm X 18.2mm thick and I can wear them fine with a 7 1/2" wrist. So....to make a long story short, I bought it and couldn't be happier with it. It is truely an incredible watch in many ways. For me.....a keeper. If any of you are in San Diego and looking for a great AD, I highly recommend "Victor" at Royal Maui Jewlers. This is my 3rd Rolex from them and I find them to be very professional and courtious. I haven't taken any pictures yet, but will post some soon. Just thought you might like another opinion from someone else who now owns one of these spectacular watches. By the way, according to my AD prices are going up at least on some watches on Oct 1st, as others have stated. The Deepsea is going to $9275. according to the AD. If you think you might like this watch, you really need to try one on for yourself, with this watch...it really is the only way to know for sure. Who knows, you may be surprised how much you like it too.

Congratulations. It is a terrific watch, in my opinion as a convert to the Deepsea. Wear it in good health.
