2008 Yachtmaster Question
I just purchased a brand new 2008 Platinum/SS Yachtmaster with the Rolex etching on the inside of the dial and was wondering what the little black square.mark is on the left side of the case is. Anyone know what this is? Thanks in advance.

LOVE IT!
What a great watch, I want one VERY bad but my next purchase will most likely be a GMT Pepsi or a Exp II white dial as Id like a 24 hr hand for travel.

I love that watch. But yesterday, I loved the TT Submariner Bluesy a bit more so picked up that one instead. Still, I admired the YM for its subtle elegance. A great choice.

Does anyone know the significance of that coded black square? Is this a "secret" method Rolex uses to track their watches on internet sales? Any ideas?

Gary, congrats, I wish I could see a couple of close ups of your YM, if at all possible, because I really love the look of this watch.

I'd love to get a platty YM once they upgrade the clasp.
$10 grand for that tin can clasp is not good value in my opinion. |
