FSOT: 1966 TUDOR Submariner 7928 Rose Logo Tropical

This is a beautiful vintage 1966 Tudor Submariner. It has its original tritium Tudor "rose" dial along with the period correct gilt minute track and silver writing. The hands have obviously been relumed in the past given that they still glow in the dark and are different in color from the luminous markers. As you can see, the dial has developed a fantastic patina with tropical hints and very earthy markers.

The case is in honest, excellent vintage condition with nice, obvious bevels. The diving bezel insert has faded to a coveted dark gray. The luminous pip is missing, and there is a small crack in the bezel there, but the insert is stable within the rotating bezel.

It comes on the pictured leather vintage strap.

This was purchased from a trusted seller on The Rolex Forums and was serviced recently. Its 390 automatic movement winds and runs as it should.
