You know that feeling...
When you start thinking about something. That something for this forum is obviously a watch. At first it is just a quick thought; then it becomea a thoughtful thought; finally it becomes an obsession that is powered by the need to have it.
Well I am at the 3rd stage. Have been collecting/using only modern pieces, but I think I've finally found my grail. The search begins... Hints: Double the red. |

Oh yeah. Happened to me recently with my new Explorer II. Before I knew it, it was on my wrist. I saw someone wearing a WG Daytona with the blue dial. The watch was gorgeous and I've been thinking about it a lot. Unfortunately it's too expensive for me now.

Yes this happened to me recently and didn't go away until the BLNR was on my wrist. At this rate the next watch is going to really hurt

Man, I know these feelings all too well....but for me I wait as long as I can before I pull the trigger and see if the itch still needs scratching.
Sometimes the itch goes away and I save $, sometimes I need to scratch! I'm surprised how many times my tastes change without buying anything and also surprise myself after I buy a watch and don't dig it for long. That's life! |

I know the feeling well. I also know that if I can ride it out, I'll eventually find something else that I like and want even more. I've saved a lot of money this way.

lol, very true for me too. I ride it out for as long as I can...and if I still can't shake it, then I know I need to buy it.
