That would be awesome if they have one in stock. But, I'm not holding my breath. I hope these start coming in soon!

We saw an early Tudor roll out. Hoping Rolex follows suit.

I'd think they'll at least of the roadshows models, without movement
Either way, have fun

Agreed, like last year the SS DaytonaC's on the roadshows, no real movements

Even an advert with Jackie Stewart wearing a SS DaytonaC last year was a "model" with no movement judging my the placement of the hands

I got an invite to a Rolex Basel watch event on the 17th May. Awaiting the final invite which I hope will tell me where it will be at the very least :-)

That's my understanding from the invitation I got, yes. Also seems to be the case for the one above, es it says exhibit rather than sale. I was told models would be out for purchase in September 2017.

I think these events are previews as opposed to sales as you say.

My AD here in Ontario, Canada is hosting the same event on June 02. The new released watches will be available for viewing, but without the moments in them.

Which AD is hosting it, I have an invite on May 2 to go to a viewing, but not sure if I will be able to go.

Haha. I've yet to see a Daytona C in the metal. Perhaps I will during a guys trip to Vegas later this year...Hope they catch the Pig-masked robbers by then.

Well that is kind of disappointing. Do they at least put accurate weighting on the inside of the piece to simulate real world wrist feel?

How can you showcase a Skydweller, bezel functions etc without any guts. Crazy.

Yes they do. They simulate the correct weight.

Yeah the Boutique at Yorkdale has an event for the beginning of May. I'm at a conference otherwise I'd be there. Not sure it's a sales event but no doubt taking deposits.
