Sub C or Daytona C
All
Put simply, what would you choose between the Submariner C VS the Daytona C. One watch choice! |

Guess it depends on the context of the question...if you're being offered these two pieces and you can only pick one, then definitely the Daytona. There are waiting lines the world over for this watch. Now if you mean getting a sub now or joining one of said waiting lists for who knows how long...then the sub. |

I'd take the Daytona, sell it, then buy the Sub!

The sub was uncomfortable for me thus the Daytona C. The DC is just so unavailable and by so many desirable. I know there is a lot of discussion on the phenomena. Is there something in the build that makes it so difficult to supply? If so it can only be in the complication. Case, crystal, face, and hands all seem relatively accessible.

From what I've observed it seems like people are selling a lot more black dial Daytonas than white dials. I don't know if the color production is 50/50 or if people who get the white are more likely to keep it but going from what I see it's like 60/40 black/white in the GM. $15.5k-16k lowest prices for black and $17.5k-18k lowest prices for white.

Irrespective of price point, demand etc. The daytona is, for me, far more comfortable and pleasurable to wear.

The sub is my overall favourite watch but if the opportunity to have a ceramic daytona presented itself, I just wouldn't be able to pass it by.

I assumed that Sub C for this poll could be 114060, 116610LN, or 116610LV and the Daytona C to be the SS white or black dial. If we're talking 114060 only, then my vote definitely gets changed to a black dial 116500

Sub for me, I have no use for the chrono complication, and I find the Daytona difficult to read. I will say, it looks fantastic in pictures though

That would depend on what I already owned and whether I wanted a dive watch or a chronograph.
Two very different watches, that is why I own both.

For only one watch I go Sub C because of brushed center links, Glidelock, and Date function
