Explorer II was running perfect then all of a sudden +25 a day...
I thought maybe it somehow was magnetized and used a demagnetizer on it and no such luck. Still about +25.
It was literally like +1 overall the past 25 or so days. Any thoughts? I'm not aware of the service history. |

Download the Lepsi app and see if it detects whether the watch is still magnetised – your demag unit may be defective or you didn’t use it correctly or enough times.

I have a similar issue with a Tudor I have. I took it in to a watchmaker and he threw it on the timing machine and said it was healthy as a horse. Said magnetism would cause an error of minutes a day, not seconds.
He said sometimes they get knocked around or they just need to be re regulated. He also did not suggest a service even though it's been about 6-7 years since production. I thought that was interesting. Anyway, just my two cents. Let us know shat you come up with. |

In-built compass function is being utilised – go read their website and download it from app store for your device. |

Downloaded that app.
Says 2 of my watches are magnetised, both run at +1 second a day so did a bit of digging. Ran it in configure mode where the baseline was 40 then put the 2 watches over it and it dropped to 32. Alrighty. Then I put a USB thumb drive over it and it shot to 120. A keyring 90. Can of Coke 150. I checked these items with a spoon to see if they would attract to each other - nope. So I think it might be a bit over zealous and wanting you to buy their demagnetiser which is suggested and costs £62 compared to the same item without their sticker on it which costs £5! Just an FYI |

I’ve yet to buy any demagnetiser, much less Lepsi’s one.
Not sure which phone you’re using, but with my 6+ the latest revision did seem to fix an issue of falsely suggesting a couple of mine were affected. Maybe the difference between the Lepsi and Chinese one is quality of components, longevity, magnetic field strength, and so on. The type isn’t one I’d gravitate towards, but instead...http://www.ebay.com/itm/Watch-Demagn...-/192141499732 |

Lepsi seems cool but I agree with others...might be a bit much. That's the same demagnetizer I have but paid much less for it.
So, in the end...it appears my watch has 0 issues because it's back to running at +0 since I started this thread. Moral of the story is, always make sure to hand wind fully. I had taken off the EXP II for about a day and didn't wind it back up before I put it on my wrist. Now that I think about it, that coincided with the odd behavior. This is the first time this has happened and I have 6 automatic watches. Guess I expected that with a power reserve of about two days it would be OK to not have it on for 24 hours and not need to wind it back up. I've done this with every other watch and had no odd timing issues. Suppose the reserve on my Exp II is running a bit low? Maybe time for a new sprint? |

99% per chance its the same thing with a different sticker. Its literally an electromagnet inside, nothing more nothing less. Check this out. https://youtu.be/TN7uZ01DuQQ?t=4m50s
