I know this doesn't answer your question, but do you need an in-house movement? I think the 3239 is the best looking Ingenieuer in a while, and the ETA is easily serviceable. I came real close to buying one last year.

*not my pic

IWC. Just do not like the yellow on the Tudor.

Although this is a Rolex Forum, I'm going to have to go with IWC on this one.

I personally love the North Flag. But as I feel like it is a kind of divisive watch, you'll see people skew toward the Ingenieur.

North Flag all the way though.

I think the Ingeneur is a handsome watch, but I haven't been too fond of where IWC has gone in the last few years.

IWC. That watch is on my maybe list for the future. Not a fan of the north flag on bracelet.

I like the look of the North Flag more

Something about the bezel of the IWC seems off

IWC Inge : Really, no contest at all

The Good
● Superb Bluish Tint AR coating. Just like their pilot watches , it's tough to beat IWC's speciality
It also gives the 3D black guilloche grid lock pattern on the dial a midnight blue ambience
● Easy to service
● 0ne Heck of an iconic classic solid Bank Vault design & that bracelet is a masterpiece

The Bad
●Heavy watch. I think it's about 200 g-ish

The Ugly
● A 200 bucks Seiko has better lume

The 3227 is "peak IWC". It, and the 3228, are among the best watches IWC has ever made. That Tudor isn't comparable.

With that said, I would muuuuuuuuuch rather have Rolex working on my Tudor than have Richemont working on my IWC.

NF for me. The IWC looks like a rotating bezel fell off.

No doubt to go for the IW322701 providing that the condition is good.

I regretted very much selling mine in the past. And, now it is not easy to find one in good condition and in full-set with warranty card, etc.

I like the yellow in the north flag but the yellow swoosh is a deal breaker.

IWC for me.

IWC by a mile and I wish they continued to make that reference with the in-house pellaton movement.

The price for this model (used) is hard to turn away. Great looking watch, if as you said, ETA movement isn't an issue.

I really like the IWC Ing. It's a great case and integrated bracelet. Kind of a poor man's Royal Oak. (Both designed by Genta IIRC)

Agreed, and it's thinner and smaller than the 322701.

IWC imo looks much better. Like the tudor quality and bezel more though.
