interesting info regarding the cyclops...

this afternoon i was told by an AD/manager that on servicing his sub date... he requested rolex remove the cyclops as he didnt like it... the interesting bit is that rolex did this for him...

he did say that if he had removed it himself before the service they would have charged him for a new crystal...

ps it did look good

Been there, seen that, Harvey.....and don't like it. To me it's like taking the 3-pointed star off the front of a Mercedes-Benz!!

JJ, The Mercedes emblem is a propeller as well as BMW (blue sky with a blur of white prop). Both companies got their initial boost from the aviation industry...

I always thought this was an interesting tidbit...if anyone cares?

And, I fully agree...no cyclops is incognito... If you're trying to show off your Rolex, you want a cyclops.
