Discoloration on Face of Watch

Hi. I have a 1996 Oyster Perpetual Datejust. I have attached a photo of it. As can be seen, there is discoloration at the center part of the face. Does anyone know what could be causing this, and any suggestions for a remedy? Thanks in advance for your help.

I expect that it's just the paint fading after 20 years. Plenty of dials are available for the Date; it is not a Datejust.

I can only guess it's traces of lubricating oils reacting over time with the dial. You will notice on some vintage pieces with long lume plots on the hands there is discolouration towards the centre. I would leave it and enjoy the watch as it is.
