GMT IIc - goes best with............
Hi all,
What are the opinions out there in regards to what attire the new GMTIIc goes best with? Due to its polished centre links and general “Bling” factor I am presently favoring wearing this piece with Smart Casual Office wear (Suit pants, Shirt and optional suit jacket). However, with jeans, cargo pants T-Shirts etc, I am favoring the EXP II over the GMT IIc for its more subdued looks and in my present opinion; more suited ability to dress down. All views and comments most welcome…………. |

I suppose the real answer is "anything goes well with the GMT IIc"
You can dress like a sack of manure tied up with string but that baby on your wrist won't let you down lol |

I wear my Steel GMT IIC everywhere. From the suit and tie at work, to the khaki shorts, polo shirt and birkenstocks.
Thats why I got it. You can dress it up or down, great for any occasion.

Sunglasses, long hair, earings, beer belly and tight leopard skin trousers with sleveless t-shirt.
Think Rod Stewart or Def Leopard - or an aged Bon Jovi. Its the polished centre links that do it (the watch is great) So sue me |

Either watch can be worn from Tuxedo to Swim Trunks, IMO.

There aren't may places our outfits I would not wear my GMTIIC with. Anyway, it's the attitude more than the clothes that count....

That's interesting to me, considering you're in ultra-casual SoCal! Part of me agrees with you, but these days, the traditional rules are relaxed. I have on my Expy2 Noir on today with a black suit. Looks GREAT, IMO.

The whole point of a Rollie is that you can wear it with anything. It doesn't not go.

I think it goes best with a nice bottle of Chardonnay, lightly breaded filet of halibut and steamed vegetables on the northern California Coastline sitting across (fill in hottie or beefcake of your choice) in a hot tub. Don’t forget to screw the crown down.
