2017 Rolex

Was lucky enough to get to the Rolex Event in Liverpool last night and tried on some of the new models!

The SkyDweller is stunning and everyone was shocked at how low the price is going to be!

The white gold Daytona was absolutely stunning in person! That was my favourite alongside the rest!

The SD is nice but just not for me!

Tried on the TT YM2 which was a lovely watch!

Nice watches. I already own two Sky-Dwellers so I am interested in the SD43. Waiting on my AD to give it a try.

Where do they advertise this type of event or do you have to be invited by your local friendly AD? I missed one last month very near to where I live as I was unaware it was on, and I would have loved to have gone.

Thanks for sharing, the new SS SD is certainly going to shake up the demand for that watch I think well beyond what the PM versions have been doing.

Nice one. I had an invite but couldn't make it, have been checking out the photos on IG. I've had a few watches from DMR and have always had a good experience.

2017 Basel was a great showing for Rolex. First on the list for the blue SkyD at my AD. The wait is killing me. As of late the SD 43 is starting to really get my interest too. Might have to break the house rules and add incoming #2 and #3 for the year. Might have to spend a few nights on the couch as the wifey won't be too happy. lol.

So looking forward to trying on the new models myself especially the Skydweller as I'm on a list for this particular model
At the event you attended did they mention if the servicing costs of the ss skydweller will be comparable to the pm skydweller
Thanks

Did they give an idea when the Skydweller would be available in the UK?

Thanks for the pics.

Not crazy about the new mercedes hands on the YM2, but man, there are some great watches in that lineup.

Around August / September time! Possibly October to the majority of AD though!

The only reason I was asking was I'd read somewhere online that the servicing cost of the pm sky dweller was around £1200 maybe someone who's got some firm information could confirm

I think it was around the £20k mark!

Expensive considering the rubber, but a stunning dial
