Two of the images you shared aren't appearing but to me, that reads as high, especially if it doesn't include a bracelet. The only image coming through on this end is the piece with a leather strap.
Others, I'm sure, will weigh in too :) |

Sorry about that. I corrected the pics. It comes with a bracelet.

Concur with Lee, any macro shots of the dial and hands? Lume looks a little suspect to me. Case and bracelet look nice.

The lume just looks a little off to me, and it's a Mk 2 matte 16750 dial.

Sky, what do you think about the crown guards, is this a cornino or just over-polished as I feel they're kind of pointy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

not a fan of the re-lumed looking mk 2 dial. price is about $1-2k too high based on that although the pepsi insert has a nice fade and could be worth $1-2k just by itself.
if you are looking to purchase, i would hold off for a better example based solely on the dial. |

There is nothing inherently bad about it as long as it is disclosed by the seller and priced accordingly. A true vintage collector will not want it as they look for everything to be as original as possible. Unless you live in a country that is severely lacking in these 16750s, you will most likely be able to find another one that is priced the same with original lume, or one priced less with a relumed dial. Have you brought this up with the seller at all? What was the response?

Hi guys, how you all tell it's relumed? There's no photo of it in the dark showing it's lume.

Look at the photo with the pepsi insert, for this reference the lume should not appear so puffy and uneven. Rolex QC would not be so sloppy with their lume application. The hands appear relumed to match the dial as well for the same reason.

Another ignorant question...can re-luming be reversed? In other words, can this dial be restored to how it was before?

Reversing would just be re-luming again. The damage has already been done to an original dial.

i think sky hit it on the head. people should feel free to purchase relumed dials. it's just the market has dictated that those relumed dials are worth less than original dials in good condition. as such, you would want to avoid overpaying for a relumed dial that is priced as if it is an original un-relumed dial. my issue is with sellers who don't disclose dials that have been relumed so buyers can make an informed purchase decision. if the seller hasn't disclosed that here, i would walk away based on principle alone.

My best advice, find a correct watch without a story - relumed or not.
