New 3235 Movement time setting
Hey guys,
I am accustomed to all the "modern" Rolex movements when setting the time. The 4130, 3131, 3135, 3136, 3186, when turning the crown clock-wise, the time also sets clock-wise. Just picked up a 126300 and noticed that when setting the time, it is now anticlockwise. Basically like an ETA movement. The anticlockwise time setting was always a tell sign of a fake in my book but seems that the game has changed. I just want to validate with the community that everyone experiences the same! I received my 126300 at Tourneau a couple days ago so I'm not questioning its authenticity at all, but the paranoid Ben still wants confirmation from TRF members!! |

Have to confess like the 40mm size, clockwise just feels right after wearing a sub for so many years.

.
CW or CCW is depending on the movement kinematic, even for Rolex watches. If all 31xx Rolex movements are turning CW, it is not the case for all previous or actual Rolex movements. All 15xx, all 30xx (except 3085) as well as 4030 , 9001 and all 20xx/22xx movements turn CCW, as well as the all new 32xx (3235 and 3255). |
