New 116500 courtesy of Takuya! // Introduction to TRF
Hello TRF - longtime lurker here and having garnered a wealth of knowledge from the discussion here thought I should finally begin to post a bit when I had something to contribute.
Long story short, seeing all the D500 incoming's, posts, etc, just sparked the intense want that I'm sure many have felt. At launch, I was leaning towards the white dial but I saw more pictures, felt the black sang to me the most (I previously had a white 116520). I (like many here) am on an AD wait list but grew impatient by the day. I reached out to Takuya (Thanh Do) who needs no introduction on TRF, chatted briefly, struck a deal, did a FTF transaction, and in less than 24 hours had the watch on my wrist.
