The Oyster case

After having owned an 80s model Airking briefly, I finally acquired what will be my every day, all the time watch-looks a Y serial Explorer II polar. It absolutely epitomizes the rugged, all-business look that I always associated withRolex. I wanted something that evoked the style that you see from those pictures of McQueen with his sub or Brando with his no-bezel GMT. A lot of this style comes from the classic sport Oyster case. It gracefully transitions to the bracelet and allows most people to look as if they are wearing the watch, and not the other way around. For most of those posting the super case watches they often look like they're wearing an over-sized watch. Does anyone think Rolex will ever return to the more universally wearable-and attractive-design of the classic oyster case with its beautiful camfors?
