Special 2% Discount for Foreigners Buying Rolex in UK

In the wake of UK elections, the pound decreased in value by about 2% today.

Good news: Foreigners can get a further 2% discount on already low Rolex prices.

Bad news: You'll have better luck finding the Loch Ness Monster than a BLNR.

The £will get back up soon not to worry but it's good for me since I got a 10%discount +2% is a good deal if the £stays at this level for the next 3 weeks :(

Well, it'll go back up if May keeps her majority. If that slips, expect the pound to drop further. Like the Op notes, it would be an amazing opportunity to buy watches, if there were any watches to be found after the last time the currency dropped.

Important to note that any drop won't make its way into the Visa(or Amex) exchange rates for at least a couple of days. Only way to get the new 2% difference is to be a forex trader

Not entirely true. My bank changes its exchange rate a couple of times a day. It's lower than the forex rate, but fluctuates proportionally.

We were in the U.K. (London) during and after the Brexit vote, so the pound was at 1.26 I believe, but as the OP mentioned, nothing that I wanted was in stock at the time.

Going to need a picture of that unicorn in the shop to believe it.

UK is a small island right? Find out who got that sucker. Let's hear how lucky he feels.

From my understanding, the airport is the only place you can get a BLNR at MSRP without being on a waiting list. Yes?
