Help identifying this Black 6263 Dial w/ unique Silver Print?
I bought this black 6263 (?) dial a long time ago and forgot about it until stumbling upon it in my parts box the other day. The dial has very unique silver printing and I was hoping someone here can tell me a bit more about it's history (and possibly value?). The pad-printed text on the dial has a very unique texture, different from any other Daytona dial I've seen. I tried to capture this as best as possible in the pics below.
As you can see, the 30 minute counter has minor damage (scratch) from the tip of the subdial hand; is repairing such minor cosmetic damage frowned upon / reducing it's value? If it isn't as big of a deal as resuming gilt dials - any tips on who's qualified to fix this type of damage? I did some research and it seems to be very similar to this one (although the inner parts of my subdials appear to be less pronounced): http://rolexpassionmarket.com/watche...-silver-print/ Low-Res Pics embedded below.
