Fs: Submariner 16610, D Serial

Unfortunately, I'm looking to sell my Submariner 16610, D Serial that was purchased in May of last year. I say unfortunately, because I'm building a new house and have too many extras that I want to add, and I need to thin my watch herd to raise a few extra funds. Don't feel too bad for me, I'm still able to hold on to my PAM's and the Yachtie.

I haven't posted many times, but have several references where I have sold a few Rolexes and Panerais, so let me know if you need them.

As mentioned before, the Sub is a D Serial which I believe is still the current production. Given my collection, this watch has only been worn ~25 times and I baby all of my collection. There are no marks whatsoever, and once cleaned and polished, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and a new Sub.

I have all boxes (new box style), papers, manual, hang tags, warranty cert, etc. I'm looking for $4,000 but please contact me with any serious offers. I belive this is a great price on a practically new watch, and it's over a 10% savings off list, and more than that with taxes included.

I can be reached at [email protected] or (404) 723-9922 if you would like to talk live. I'm located in Atlanta if there is any local interest and would consider a face to face transaction.

A few pics: (I'm not the best photographer, but let me know if you want other scans)

Hi Tom,

Good luck on the sale, but as a general rule of thumb, it's always safer to avoid displaying your entire serial number. Try and cover up at least the last 2 digits.

Cheers - JJ

... or you could just edit out the last few numbers in the photo above using a photo editor prog (you could just put a box or thick line over it if you don't know the finer points of the program). Best of luck with the sale

No. I just placed it on it for the pictures. Usually it sits in one of my bathroom drawers inside the Rolex cloth.

Thanks for the kind words. I have some interesting trade offers for a few PAM's, so I'm not sure if I'll leave the auction up to the end.
