Service on older sub
If I send my 1996 16610 in for service are they going to replace the dead tritium dial with a newer one?

I asked Dallas RSC about my 1986 Date. They told me they will not replace it.
I'm not sure if that's because they don't have anymore or what. When I sent it in, the estimate they emailed me doesn't have any option to replace the dead dial. It doesn't hurt to call. They might have one for your sub. If so, they keep your old one in trade. |

Only if you pay for it.
If you sent it in through an AD, make sure you let them know your wishes, otherwise, the RSC will provide an estimate of service with details that you have to sign off on before they start the work.

Afaik they only do service on movement, and polishing your bracelet and do the water test. All others they will contact you

How long does lume last anyways ?
I've got a 1999 sub and the lume is as bright as my new sub and my DSSD. |

Your dial probably says "Swiss Made" in which case I don't believe it expires, but the tritium dial lumes only last about 15 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
