Your prediction- will I get it?
On June 28 I contacted my local AD for the SD43. They advised that they are only allotted to former customers. I knew I was going to be in Las Vegas 7/18 - 7/21 so I called the Boutique at the Wynn resort but was given the same answer as my local AD. The person at the Wynn suggested I contact Tourneau as they would likely get more in than other stores. So I contacted them and asked about putting a deposit down and getting it on 7/18. They said a deposit would not guarantee the watch being there for me but a full payment would- I paid in full. I got a call yesterday telling me that they had planned to get the watch from their King of Prussia location but the store was flooded. They said that they should receive their regular Rolex shipment on 7/18 and hopefully one will be included with the shipment. I advised that if it is not there on 7/19 I would expect a full refund. They advised that they would do so. Seems like they would bend over backwards to locate one so as to not lose the sale. What do you think?

Why not get your money back and then call King of Prussia directly and have them overnight you the watch?

You'll love the piece, and getting it while on a trip will be something you'll always remember. Besides, you can always get your refund in two days, or not, and let them ship you the watch if it arrives after you leave (which will probably be pretty quick anyway). You'll probably save the sales tax that way. Either way, it's a win! Cheers, J |

I'd have pointed out that as the watch is water rated to 4000ft a bit of flood water shouldn't be an issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I might be missing something but if you walk out with it from the store you will be paying about $12,275 including sales tax. You could get one on here for about 12k from a trusted seller and have it tomorrow. Why are you waiting and potentially paying more?

Nah to all of this...
They are easily available...just a bitsy of legwork and it's on your wrist. If the Tourneau watch isn't there, immediately request a full refund (which shouldn't have been necessary in the first place) and move on. Make a few calls to smaller, more rural dealers and there will be one waiting for you. Easy Peasy. |
