Not New anymore: When your new Rolex lives large & racks up personal history
New watches challenge us with their pristine newness, especially "grail" watches. Stressful - will they be "the one" you lived your life in or just a piece in your collection?
Making a Rolex truly "yours" means wearing it lots... and living large in it - racking up personal history, earning patina (resale be damned) and collecting stories. Ever had a big day where a watch went from a piece to truly your watch? Do share. Had an especially good effort today: Motorcycle Adventure Touring in Iceland; Diving the the Continental Drift; Ink in Reykjavik. Big day for "my" DSSD Blue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Excellent points and very true... I have one watch only and wherever I go, it goes..."new" goes out the window on it's first scratch.
Great pics |

I would have no fears using a ceramic Rolex for pretty much anything, even a PM one.
