Hodinkee is always very kind to Tudor, aren't they?

Quite a bit of words dedicated to the obvious design flaw (good), but not a single picture among the many that shows it (borderline comical).
Impossible to take Hodinkee seriously when it comes to Tudor. |

I agree on the design issue of the hour hand. Seems like a total fail that shouldn't have left the studio. Habooki treaded too light on it in my opinion.

I think the hour hand is an intended feature it is a reference to how many people actually use the chrono function

Looks like a reasonable piece to me, a date is a more useable feature than a chromo and that is coming from someone who loves their Daytona.

I read the article and saw the Black Bay Chrono at an event at an AD. I liked the watch and the hands issue is not as big a deal as I thought it would be. After reading a lot about the hands I thought it would make me move away from the watch but not so. I think I might pick one up. I do not think this one will fly out of the AD's though. Tudor has now milked the Black Bay about as far as I can see them going. Time to do something else.

I say this movement needs to be the current THC.
But since they won't listen to me, I think it needs stick hands and it will be ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hoodinke lost the (little) credibility it had left by not criticizing the use of snowflake hands in a chrono. Was a great site but now it feels they just cater to brands that send them watches. And have you seen the prices of anything they sell? Ridiculous. The Hoofskindee premium

I don't think that hand is that bad tbh. They could have done skeleton hands instead like the ym 2. Perhaps if it sells slow they will change it. But it's a great value at 5k.
