Love both these watches - tough choice

But as I love the GMT will obviously go BLNR

BLNR, great all around watch. DJ would not work as well in summer sports such as boating, skiing, pool time.

Very tough choice. Very different watches, but each equally appealing. I think it will depend on your everyday dress. Do you air more on the side of casual or formal?

While not the blue dial, here is a pic I took yesterday that may assist.

I voted for the BLNR as it's the better all rounder as an only watch. Having said that, that DJ41 with the rhodium in that exact configuration looks amazing!

You are telling the answer to your question, i.e., BLNR no brainer.

That seems pretty much a BLNR slam dunk then.

Sporty vs a little more dressy, flip a coin both are beautiful in their own way.

DJ 41 works great in every situation as well... buy the one you are leaning to. Seldom is any choice exactly 50/50

Both. I have BLNR already. Waiting to trade my 114060 for a DJ41 blue dial/fluted/jubilee. As soon as my watch guy hits me up He sourced one....done deal

I agree. I've wanted a Rolex since I was 21. I always wanted a datejust. I started at 34 years old with a 114060 then BLNR. October I turn 35 and by then I shall have the DJ41

This is the exact situation I am in (except I'm trading a 11610). Once I saw the DJ41 in the metal, I had to have one. Now waiting on my AD to source the blue one (jubilee, fluted, stick).

Once I saw the blue fluted dial on jubilee I was sold. I wanted to trade 114060 for a dj2 but nothing really like "wow" me. The new DJ41 totally "wow" me. It's a must for me.

It kind of depends on your collection but BLNR is probably the way I would go and I am in love with my new DJ41. The DJ41 would compliment the BLNR perfectly though. If you already have black dial I would get the blue dial.

If you are a watch one guy like me (at last for now) is say it depends on what you wear most of the time. Suits = DJ 41 if not BLNR. If I decide it's time to get a second watch I'll buy either the BLNR or the subc Daytona. Mind you I'm wearing my DJ 41 with my jeans since I chose to buy it with oyster bracelet for this reason

I would have a sporty ceramic as my one and only so BLNR first, then DJ41 an eager second.
