Daytona C first time on the wrist

I got this 6-7 weeks ago, but wore it for the first time tonight. It has been 15 years since I've owned a Daytona, and didn't keep that one long. I found it a little too blingy, felt small, and hard to read. At the time I was collecting Panerai's and everything seemed small! I really love the new Daytona! It has far more of a tool watch feel than the polished steel bezel had, which is surprising since I don't care for the ceramic bezel on the Subs, which I think really lost the tool watch vibe. I love the size, as my PP Aquanaut has given me a new appreciation for reasonable sized watches. I've been wearing my 6-digit polar Explorer II almost exclusively for the last couple of months (probably my favorite watch) and the Daytona is harder to read, but still an improvement over the previous model. I was a little worried that once I finally had this watch that it wouldn't live up to the hype, which might actually be why it took me so long to get around to wearing it. I get it now, and it's definitely something special.
