Ohhhhhh those PCL's!

Thought about brushing them on my BLNR and told the wife my plans. She said, "Why would you do that, it will take away from the contrast of the watch and that is what makes it so nice." She is right! Honestly it would look great with or without PCL's but the PCL's really make the bezel pop!

I thought I didn't like PCLs... And then I purchased a BLNR and realized how right they are. They really make the watch pop. You should listen to your wife.

II love my PCL on my DJII but wouldn't want them on my LVc. Each watch has their own personality.

I'm not really a huge fan of the PCLs, but I don't really have anything against them.

When I bought my DJ, I went with the Super Jubilee and frankly, if I could have chosen any Jubilee over the PCLs when I bought my BLNR, I would have.

However, the reality is that the BLNR, and all current GMTIIs, come with an Oyster bracelet with polished center links and that's good enough for me.

I absolutely knew I hated PCLs, until I tried one on.

it's perfect on my DJ2, but i wouldn't want it on any of the sport models, it's making them less "sporty"

Chaps

I think PCls are great for a model that you know will be worn under full length shirt cuffs for nearly all of the time. Office workers and other sedate types will be fine.

If you are the more active outdoor type who wears the watch in an exposed position, then PCls are a disaster.

Regards

Mick (sedate outdoor type)

They totally work on a GMT, just like a Jubilee does.

Pcls on a sport watch are like a fluted bezel on a dj, it really adds to the watch imo.

PCLs look great on a professional pilot's watch! Even after years of wear, the contrast doesn't change despite all the scuff marks and scratches.

I brushed the polished links on my Oris, but there's no way I'd attempt that on a Rolex.

I'd leave it alone and listen to your wife. They give the watch a very classy look.

I love the PCLs on my GMT LN. They remind me of the Jubilee bracelet on my 16710. A bit of shine goes well with the GMT.

I like both. My wife said I'm wrong. She said PCL's make the watch BLNR. She's right, of course but glidelock trumps PCL's every day and twice on Sundays.
