I am sick and I need help!!!!
I went to at AD today while I was shopping with my wife. (I promised her 3 days ago when I bought my SS Daytona that it was going to be my last Rolex for a while. She looks at me as we are walking into the AD and she says "I don't have to worry because there is nothing more on your list of Must Have Rolexes." Well, they had a Milgauss GV!!! She looks at me and said "I guess I was wrong!". Long story short, it took me only 3 days to break my promise to my wife. I keep saying to myself (and my wife) that this is going to be the last watch for a long time. Then, I keep buying.
I am really sick. Why can't I stop myself?? I just could not bring myself to turn down the SS Daytona and the GV. They are both very stunning. Am I the only one that just can't help themselves? Thank GOD I have an understanding wife. I don't think a lot of women would put up with me. BTW - They also had a Black and White Milgauss at MSRP NIB from the AD. If you are interested PM me and I would send you the info.

I never bought into the posts that said that the Daytona and other sought after watches were more common now. But, I have found both the Daytona and the GV at MSRP at ADs in the past 3 days. I still don't know how "common" they are but I feel very blessed to have found them. My bank account just wishes that I would have found them a little more spaced out.

Jr will just have to go to Cuyahoga Community College instead of Ohio State.
I am also afflicted with the same thing. I think I may have bumped into you at Cleveland Hopkins International. 5 Rolexes this year and one more on the way. |

Wow!....you lasted three days?? What's your secret!!
The warmest of congrats on two very desirable references. It's always a bit easier to walk away from one that's readily available, but to walk away from the harder to find examples might lead to a lot of regret. Just tell her you really mean it this time. That's what I tell my wife.......come to think of it, never mind. |

www.rolexsanonymous.com is your only hope.
However, I have the same malady and do not want to be cured. I just need more money! By the way www.rolexanonymous.com is a url that is available if anyone wants to start a help group for us all!

:)) I completely understand...its difficult, my AD had the GV available and I had to say no. Btw, anyone who is in Ireland and looking for a white face Milgaus (and possibly a black face Daytona) pm me, I know an AD who has them.

I know the feeling well! I said no more after the day-date, think i lasted a few months, there is no hope for a cure. Who cares we harm no one and if you have to have a hobby it may as well be something you love. There is no last one!!!

Good point. At this moment, our money is safer in Rolex watches than it is the stock market!

All kidding aside, I am thrilled with the Daytona and the GV. I don't know how limited the GV will eventually end up being but I love it. They are great pieces for my collection and even though I am a little stressed out with buying the watches so close together I do know that I would be kicking myself if I had passed.

Already a member... we have meetings several times a week... I walk in and when it's time for me to talk, I say: "Hi, my name is Paul, and I'm a Rolex nut" Everyone in the group answers: "Hi Paul!" P.S. No offense intended to anyone involved in any kind of "meetings" My serious and highest encouragement to anyone in that situation. |

You meant to say Tri-C instead of Miami of Ohio, John Carrol, Case, Wittenburg, Kenyon, or maybe Dennison. OSU is cheap compared to those!!!

The good news is, there is no cure for your addiction and the bad news is, you're looking for help. Come to your sense bro, why in the world you want help for? Give yourself a good slap in the face then, go out there and buy more Rolex. P.S. If you need more help I'm here for you.
