Submariner hulk "300m" or "300 m" text...
May be this topic was raised before but I just noticed that some hulks have the "300m" text on the dial written with a space between the "300" and the "m" and others don't have that space.
Below are 2 photos, first one is my actual hulk without the space (I bought it brand new from rolex boutique). The second photo is from rolex website where there is clearly a space. Is this normal? Is the same happening with other submariner models? I wanted to raise this topic because someone may think it is a fake watch (the one without space) |

Just looked at some listed here FS. Some have the space, others don't.

My 2014 LVc has the space but my 2017 LNc doesn't. Doesn't bother me either way.

Both dials are correct. The one on the Rolex picture is the dial used in the 116610LV from 2010 till 2016.
The first picture is the dial Rolex used in the newest 2017 models (some late 2016). It is know that Rolex uses different dials. This however is a bit odd, changing the dial after 6 years, but as already mentioned, both dials are correct. |

Thank you for the information. Mine is 2017 model which explains why it doesn't have the space. Cheers |

Both are legit. There have been very subtle changes to font and spacing on many models over the years.

I tried one on this year
Looks like there's no space. I also noticed the spacing for the 'Oyster Perpetual Date'has changed slightly too in the newer models. |

Over the past 5 decades there has been tiny changes to most all Rolex dials, trouble today with loupe dial checking madness, its now noticed more with today's Rolex WIS type owners.

There are dial font differences with the Hulk. Even with the word SUBMARINER. Some dials have the little "hooks" on the letters and newer Hulk dials do not.

I can relate to the designers being meticulous and never quite satisfied. Always wanting to tweak the small details...

I can't wait to get home next week to check mine. That space would drive me mad.
Mine was an earlier dial version |

Submariner hulk "300m" or "300 m" text...
As said, Hulk dial 2017 is without space and Hulk dials 2010-2016 with space.
LNc Date and ND have multiple (7) dials used in no particular order/year. If anybody is interested, check the 2017-2018 dialguide from Rolex: http://pics.r-l-x.de/picserv/files/3...Dials17_18.pdf |

There have been numerous threads on this topic and I don't believe any one dial is considered newer than another. There seems to be multiple styles in production simultaneously.

For LNc you are correct. LVc has most definitly one dial layout from 2010-2016 and a dial layout for 2017. |
