This photo is perhaps a good addition to the "is it safe" thread...is it safe to wear a YMII on a yacht...while grinding in the genoa??

Great watch! I'm looking forward to seeing the other examples that get posted on this thread

The Sub's stylish younger brother.

Can dive just as deep if pushed (triplock) but not bothered with such common activities, rather busy on the deck steering the ship, entertaining guests and bringing them safely to harbour :-P.

Otherwise, it takes part in regattas to stay in good shape and runs the occasional transatlantic race with a pint of lager and a some meat pie waiting at Lizard Point.

Not wearing on the boat but in many special occasions. Tomorrow I'll drive 45 Kms to take it out from the safe and wear for a dinner with a very good friend!

Actually Victor, that's not quite correct. The YM is rated to only 100m or 300 feet, unlike the Sub, which is rated to 300m or 1,000ft. Although the two watches have Triplock crowns, the Sub's case is different.

But hey, they are both beautiful watches and yours looks particularly classy on that strap!

I know buddy, I was just being tongue in cheek. The YM has a smugness to it that its earnest sibling the Sub lacks. Both great watches. Cheers.
