PAM690 availability and pricing
Hi folks:
Been bitten by the bug and now really wanting to get a blue dial 690 Being a limited edition from 2016 is this still hard to come by? Happy to get it second hand. I've asked my local AD but haven't heard back since. Does anyone know the original RRP from the AD? I saw some on Chrono24 and the price seems to be quite inflated (Given that most Pams can be bought with a better discount in recent months). |

simple search @ panerai dot com....9200.00usd
http://www.panerai.com/en-us/collect..._pam00690.html they only made 500 of these so yeah the prices are going to be higher on the secondary market.

My friend got his last January. He got it from PANERAI boutique in Singapore and he paid SGD13,100.00 which is the RCP. So, the RCP is around USD9,600.00 +/- depending where you are located.
Back in end July, while in Hong Kong, I saw one sitting at a store window. I am not sure if it is there anymore. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Great looking watch. Asking price and getting price are two different things. Contact some sellers that have the watch and see what you can do.

I just bought mine from DSW back in August and it's one of the best moves I've made.
I loved it at first sight, but was always a bit gun shy of the brand. After consulting a few of the lads here, I decided to pull the trigger on my first Panerai and now I see what all the fuss is about. I paid $750.00 over original retail for a mint example and full set. I don't care about the cost, I'll be keeping this one |

690 is sold out. You’ll have to go to the secondary market. Killer piece that’s well worth the hunt.

Asked a few trusted dealers and doesn't seem like anyone has stock. Personally I don't mind paying up to 1k over retail but judging on the recent sales value of some LE Pams from just a few years ago I do want to exercise caution. I guess waiting is part of the game too =) |

Thanks for the advice. Yes I do see some seller have them e.g. chrono 24, but I'd rather use trusted dealers for peace of mind. Some of the rep Pams these days are scarily close especially when I've never seen the watch in person

Edit: I see Moibotime in Hong Kong has one. I don't anything about them, but they're price is the lowest I've seen in a quick search. I guess it comes down to how badly you want the watch. If you plan on keeping it, paying the premium may be worth it since they are limited. Good luck in the hunt |

Reminds me of the time in 2014 when pam 448 was released. I thought that watch is the world lol. It was selling above retail. The only reason holding me back was my mate kept having problem with his radiomir wirelug (screw not tightening, wire wobbly). I remember going to to AD with him to get the watch fixed and the salesperson told him that this shouldn't happen because this is a watch "used in war (he probably doesn't even knew the wire lugs were welded on back then) haha. Anyhow I end up getting a BLNR and to this date it's probably a better decision , especially seeing how much you can get a 448 now. The lust is certainly gone. And I do wonder if the same might happen to some of the LEs they are doing now. Pams are a bit of a wild card. Hopefully in time you will find what you want at a good price lol ! |

I'm still wondering if I made a mistake in letting that 690 slip through my fingers last year. It was on my wrist, it was mine if I wanted it, the last one at OP Singapore; I passed to save the money for my 533................

449 is an amazing piece, not a fan of the 448, rather would have the 249, and do....

For the gent looking for the 688
I too was in love with that piece but discovered it too late. Have you considered the new due limited edition 00728 ? Boutique only but gorgeous. And very similar to 688

I’ll probably burst into tears if it’s a 690
