AD or RSC for warranty service?

i unfortunately have decided to take my GMTIIc for warranty as i have noticed the second hand losing about 10-20 seconds every 4-5 days compared to my GMTIILN. I wear the ceramic more than my LN now and noticed the slowing down when comparing the time to time.gov as well as my LN that just sits on my dresser and occasionally on my winder.

so my question is i bought the watch locally at Ben Bridge in Brea in Orange County, should i take it to them or just drive down to RSC Beverley Hills and get it done.

your thoughts?

If BB has an in-store watch repair guy, I know he'll check it out against a machine they have in back regarding keeping time.

I'm pretty sure if he can't do anything there, he'll send it out to RSC for you.

Have BB ship it to the RSC if they'll foot the shipping bill. I am not a fan of in-house work.

Even though that is running close to within spec, I'll bet that the RSC will regulate it for you for better performance..

I would probably take a trip to the BH RSC... The Dealer may be reluctant to open a watch that is still under warranty.

so it is running within spec? the reason it bothers me is because i bought my LN back in 2003 and it has yet showed signs of slowing down.

I had one running over 10 sec per day and was sent to RSC-BH for service through the AD.
They would not do it if RSC can do it since it'll take the responsibility away from them.

Just say "no" to BB in-house work. There may be some very good watchmakers working for BB, but you are taking a big risk that the watch will just be sent out to some barely known third-party watchmaker in San Diego or elsewhere. RSC all the way for warranty work.
