Collection Update

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any pics. I’ve added a few more pieces, mostly non-Rolex. I still think there’s enough content here to quality for the general forum. I have two spots left in my watch box. In the short term, I am considering adding another Panerai or possibly reacquiring a GV Milgauss. Long term, I’d like to add a white dial Royal Oak.

You have a great collection so far!

Which Panerai is that?

Thinking about sacrilege and adding a white dial Luminor to contrast with my Radiomir.

The picture above doesn’t do justice to the Datejust 41. Thought I’d add this one.

I really like the IWC, and I typically don't... Great collection, and I believe I have the same Wolf Box..

That’s a nice collection! The way I see it you’re missing a Navitimer and a Daytona, that way, you’d have the three great pilot watches (GMT, Navi, IWC Pilot), three great divers (Subs and Pam, add a Seamaster for it to be “the” three great) and the three great sports chronographs (Daytona, Speedmaster, Navitimer and an honorable mention of the IWC here too).

I had a two tone Navitimer. It was an older model and pretty good looking. I sold it a few years back. I semi-regret it in the long run. Truthfully my Speedmaster is my go to daily chrono. I'd like to add a Daytona, but for the price point I am already in Royal Oak (non-chrono) territory which is an eventual must add for me.

The IWC is probably my least worn piece, but I really wanted something from their pilot's range. Obviously the Big Pilot is the signature piece, but it's a little too large for me. When they fixed the little mistakes on the previous generation of Pilot Chronographs, I knew I wanted one. I went blue dial because I did not have a blue dial piece and I wanted a more whimsical fun piece if not worn often. What really sold me on IWC was the hands. I absolutely love the hands.

While the AP is my long term goal, in the short term I was thinking about adding a Panerai Luminor in the interim. I had also been thinking about that Seamaster Trilogy piece that was just released.

Great rounded collection. I would cut to the AP right now, Evan, maybe even sell one of the Rolexes to get there, need a high end piece in there.

I've considered it, believe me. Can't really part with my higher priced pieces to finance the AP and selling some of my cheaper ones wouldn't be worth the hit. That AP will be here soon enough. I got some things in the works...

Appreciate it. Very happy with my Rolex collection, I could use a Milgauss and/or a Daytona and really round out the collection but I want to diversify. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I love my Speedmaster. I see you've creating a nice Speedy collection!

Yes. I think my last 6 purchases are all non Rolex and in Omega Speedy limited editions and AP 39mm Royal Oak(s). It is just fun to mix it up once in a while and these pieces do feel special since they are not in abundance in the wild. By the way, the DJ 41 looks awesome!
