Sorry, my fat fingers hit the wrong key! There seems to be an increase in availability outside the UK, just wondered if any UK members have recently had the call. I have been on a list with my local AD for 2 years, however an aquaintance of mine has been getting sort after watches through his local AD, milgauss GV DSSD, SS Daytona. He called yesterday to say he could get me a SS Daytona at list price within 2 weeks. Im obviously gonna for it, but i must be jumping the queue. Also concerned i may then get the call from my own AD and need to find over £10k to buy 2 watches.

I spoke with my AD last week. And he doesn't expect to see any Daytona's soon.
In fact he is still waiting to see a GV & a DSSD. Enjoy your Daytona when you get it. What colour dial are you going for??

My AD has offered me a Deep Sea with a discount, I asked for a daytona white face and got it within a month and called yesterday and asked to get me another daytona white face (for a friend) and was told i can have one in 2 weeks.......they told me that Rolex watches are not selling....it seem that i could ask for any current Rolex and get it...probably with discount, the Daytona's are £50 below list!!

I know as I purchased one off him, nice guy, but he did make a £750 ish premium off me!
But I sold it on again and made another few pounds!! I decided I wanted a white face daytona...not the black face purchased off Paul... |
