1013 purchased but now I want a 1675/8
Fellow members,
A few months ago I bought this watch http://www.ebay.ca/itm/VINTAGE-ROLEX...3D152567210554 on eBay. I'm a fan of the 36mm 4-digit references and this was to slot in between my RG 1012 and my WG 1803...but the thing is, it's too similar to those watches to really take its place in the collection - and the other two are in much better condition, this one would need quite a bit of casework and perhaps a replacement bezel to get it up to spec (case is way overpolished but dial and hands are OK). I'm not sure the result is worth the work, to me. I sent the bracelet off to MY in HK for restoration and a couple of links inserted, which will leave me with a YG Jubilee in probably pretty good nick when it finally comes back. My question to you fellows is, will that bracelet fit a 1675/8 head? Might take me a while to find one but that would be a real change for the collection, and still keep me in the 4-digit range I like so much. Any/all advice appreciated and yes you can poke fun at me for the purchase of that dog if you like, but the price was right and it was here in Canada which meant no duties, ha. |

I believe it would fit, if it has #55 end links.
