Discrepancy on how the Date is written in warranty booklet
I have seen several variations on how the date is written when you purchase the watch. Some have it as DAY/MONTH/YEAR while others are MONTH/DAY/YEAR and some where it's JUNE/DAY/YEAR.
Is there a correct version? Wouldn't you need consistency with the dates across the board for warranty registration?

A dates a date it only a question of how the person filling out the paperwork prefers to write it.
As long as it’s properly filled out with AD details etc it’s all good. |

I bought a piece that had only month and year written (Dec 16...just before the 5 yr warranty...darn it!). To APs credit, they started the warranty on the last day of the month when I went to register the watch

its going to be an issue when registering im almost positive if you don't know the format. If its 5-10-17 and if you don't know if the purchase date was may 10th or october 5th, its a problem. Probably only an issue for grey market watches as if you bought it yourself you know the date of purchase.

Depends on where you are in the world.
