Has anyone bought a Rolex that was new in box but had been "on the shelf" for a couple years? I found a BLNR on eBay for buy-it now 9550 USD. This seems unusually low for a new BLNR so I looked at it and it's a 2015 model. It seems like maybe the protective plastic has been partially removed but it looks great, otherwise. I'm probably not going to buy it, but I wonder what the condition of the movement would be like if it's just been sitting in a box for 2 years. The seller has 100% positive feedback and it has box and papers, so I'm not sure why else it would be priced a bit lower.
