Choices, Descisons,........Insanity

Hello TRF members, I am finally ready to make my first Rolex purchase. Here is what's stopping me. I really like 3 models (PM Sky, PM Sub, Hulk Sub). For the price of the PM Sky I could get both Subs. I really like the Roman numeral face of the PM Sky though. How would you go about make a decision like this?

If it’s your first Rolex, get the one that you like the most. Enjoy your choice and after some wrist time you’ll have more clarity on your second.

I think you answered your own question.

That classic look of the sub draws me in. I'm also fond of the colors. I've tried all three on and they have unique features that gives them that appeal. Just when I think I've convinced myself, I come across a beautiful pic and its back to square one lol.

I understand your dilemma ... I have the pm sky-d, but always liked the classic Rolex sports watch look. (I'll probably add an explorer soon).

Maybe get pm sky-d first and add hulk later (or, vice versa)?

A very tough choice! Two in some ways can seem (or be) better than one. If you've got a thing for the styling of the Sky-Dweller as you point out, maybe it'll be even tougher to avoid. Best of luck to you making the choice

I think that is a very good solution.

I think in the long run you'd be happiest with the Smurf. Its pretty rare that I have heard anyone on here talking about regretting buying one.

A PM sub AND an LV? Yeah...very few things are out there in watch land that I'd rather have than those two. And a Sky isn't even on the list.

Just get the one you like the most first. Get the other later.

I've had all the models you mentioned on my wrist and why anyone would purchase a PM model is beyond me just for the simple fact they are to darn heavy. You obviously can afford one but how about the new SS/WG Sky and pickup with the $$ you saved and a ceramic Daytona . Winner winner chicken dinner...
