You have to love the vintages! Wahl #4 Gold Ripple

Just a wonderful pen.

Created in 1927. Writes as well as any of my moderns! And so much history!

I am the one who is jealous of you my friend! You have so many great fountain pens and I continually enjoy reading your posts!!! Thanks Guy!

Occasionally I stumble on a fantastic FP and this is one of those times. Almost makes me wish I had lived in 1927.

That's a great honor not unlike being knighted by the Queen!

Where did you come across the pen?? It's really an incredible piece.

Found it out on PenTrace. It seems like the old timers post there a lot.

As far as being knighted.... not so! Your pen collection is every bit as good as mine I am sure and I am sure it didn't take you 30 years to put together.

When you think about it Guy, you have quite an achievement there! Deserving of any pen connoisseurs admiration.

Of course, Jim's (Jar) collection would put us all to shame, but he refuses to share it with us! Sheesh! I would love to see it.

I've only heard of Jim's collection in Nordic myths of Vikings pillaging countries solely for their fountain pens. I believe it's pretty epic........time for another drink!!
