Tara's First Duck Retrieve...
Just some shots of my buddies dog, Tara and her first duck retrieve. I was honored to have shot her first duck. I love how young dogs learn and get better with age. Later in the day we went pheasant hunting and she flushed and retrieved a nice bird as well.
Of course I had my Rollie on. My beloved TT DJ, I don't baby it and by the way it goes well with camo and blaze orange. Hope all you TRF hunters out there are having a good season. Best,

We were too excited to have gotten her first duck. Besides, it doesn't look good on her paw.

It's on my right hand (behind her head) and you can't see it.

Nice. I have a two year old yellow who is doing pretty well, but still a little wild. He is by no means the robot many of my buddies have. He is a great dog, and wonderful with my children so it is a wash! Congrats!

Great shots Brian. I don't want to hijack your thread, but I thought I'd sneak this photo in of a 405 lb. black bear dressed, shot about a mile from my house. Bear season just ended with 40 bears shot within a 25 mile radius of my house on the first day.

Brian, 3 more days of geese and then the season is over here in Ohio. This is from this years youth hunt. My youngest son and two other great young men. We had a great hunt. The lab's name is Hunter and he is 14. This may be his last season. I hope you had a great season
