Fake Sub?

Hello peeps, I currently new to the forum. But I have a quick question. I have this "Rolex Submariner" that I was handed down to by my father. It seems real, and genuine but, for some reason I feel like it's a fake, it has the engravings on the side bezel and everything, and I know the band was replaced at some point but can someone please take a look at it :)

Don't ask why.

You asked for an assessment and got one from a knowledgeable member.

That's enough.

If you need more take it to a local watchmaker.

The watch is a bad fake. A submariner is never that thick. Looks. more like a deep sea dweller case. The dial print is wrong. look at the upside down triangle at 12 and the distance to the printed crown. Its about 2X the space rolex uses. The date font and magnification. I can really list a lot more. The bezel is not a rolex bezel and the pearl looks wrong. The bracelet is fake and it a later fake. You said he changed the bracelet.

I dont understand why a father would give his kid a fake rolex. My father did the same thing. Also when he died his real one is MIA. But I brought my own at 30 and 33 and at the age of 47 I own 7 of them including the one he use to have. Not his but the same model and year. Good luck.
