116509 help!
I'm thinking of part exchanging a Tudor Fastrider black shield (leather strap) 42000CN, Tudor Blackbay Black (leather strap ETA version) 79220N, a 116622 blue dial and £5500 cash for a Daytona 116509 grey arabic dial (Rolex serviced Oct 2017)
All watches have B&P. Fellow members, should I do it? Bit of background, I have 8 watches but find I only wear 3 of them regularly. 116713LN, VC Overseas Deepstream and the 79220N. I don't wear the 116622 much since getting the 116713, I sold a 114060 as I found it too similar to the 79220N. (I initially chose to keep the 79220 over the 114060 as they are harder to find) I have a 16610LV which I don't wear for some reason, just never seem to choose it. The other two are Casio and Seiko so not worth selling. I like the idea of having different complications in my collection, the Fastrider is the chrono but after buying it it really doesn't do it for me and neither does the Omega Speedmaster. (My Seiko has a power reserve!) I really want a top piece then I think I'm done, at least for awhile. I thought about getting an AP Royal Oak but A) they're overpriced in the UK and B) they wear just a little too big on me and when I think about it, a solid white gold Daytona is a better buy IMO. |

Another option is the silver dial with the contrasting arabic numeral markers and sub dials which gives it a panda look for an extra £500.

Love the WG Daytona, a great piece! I’d say go for it!

Well, no...it sounds like the BBB is one of your regular wearers so don't trade that one.

WG Daytona is worth it, as is the AP 15202 which wears not much bigger. I like the VC and TT as partners.

Yes I like the TT and VC as partners too but which dial?
I wear the BBB only very occasionally and I have a few 3 handers already, that's the reasoning for trading that one. Plus I am trying to reduce my collection. |

Just do it. It's an absolutely gorgeous watch. I'm so glad I got mine, instead of waiting for the DaytonaC. You won't regret it.

Another from the do it camp. I'd probably be looking at the grey dial with the lumed arabics though

No - there are two "grey coloured" dials (although the one without lumed arabics is technically known as a black dial but many sellers refer to is as grey, well, because its not very black)
Lumed grey dial above:

I did it.
Settled on black dial white gold arabic numerals in the end. Like the one devildog posted in the second picture. |

I'm on a bit of a grey kick now - so that slate dial for Daytona, also like the anthracite on Aquanaut, ruthenium on AP RO and rhodium on DJ41, boy there are a lot of fancy grey synonyms!

You were right. I sent it off yesterday and started regretting letting the BBB go straight away. Luckily the dealer has agreed to send it back to me and I pay the valuation difference.
